Dembowski, Mary (Horgan) of Quincy, passed away December 28, 2011. Wife of the late Anthony Dembowski. Beloved mother of Claire Mitchell of Quincy, Michael Dembowski and his wife Patti of Milton, Paul Dembowski and his wife Gina of North Weymouth and the late Gerard Dembowski. Sister of Sr. Jeremy Horgan, CSJ of Manomet, Dorothy Dow of Quincy, Claire Riley of Chestnut Hill, Gerard Horgan of Dedham and the late John, Daniel "Buddy", Joseph, Paul and Francis "Duchie" Horgan. Mary is also the devoted grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mary was born in Boston and grew up and educated in South Boston. She lived in Dorchester for many years before settling in Quincy where she has been since 1993. Mary enjoyed playing cribbage, bowling and bingo. She was known for never turning down a trip to Foxwoods where she loved playing the slot machines. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
