Eduardo A. Buiser, 69
Dateline: Coram, New York


Eduardo A. Buiser, 69, of Coram, New York, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday December 31, 2011 at the home of his son in Mansfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Myrna A. (Sahagun) Buiser, to whom he was wed for over 40 years at the time of her death on June 25, 2008.
Born in Alaminos, Laguna, the Philippines on November 25, 1942, he was son of the late Aurelio F., Sr. and Florencia A. (Abril) Buiser.
Eduardo grew up and was educated in the Philippines. He earned his bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of Santo Thomas in the Philippines and later received his masters degree in business administration from St. Johns University in New York.
Ed moved to the United States in the mid 1960’s and first settled in Queens, New York, until later moving to Coram, New York where he resided for many years. He was married to his late wife Myrna on August 19, 1967.
A resident of New York for over 45 years, Mr. Buiser was a retired Account Executive having been employed for 18 years at Metilfe Insurance, prior to retiring in 2000.
Ed was a worldwide traveler who enjoyed photography. He was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Family was the focal point of Mr. Buiser’s life. He loved spending time in their presence and especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities.
He was the devoted father of Edward S. Buiser and his wife Deborah of Mansfield, MA Myrna B. Schnur and her husband David of Denver, Colorado, Minna S. Buiser of Newton, MA and Marcia S. Nardone and her husband Christopher of South Grafton, MA. The cherished grandfather of Matthew and Julia Buiser and Ethan and Ryan Schnur, he is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Rodolfo Buiser, Romeo Buiser, Lyn Gamez, Demetrio “Dante” Buiser, Divinia “Baby” Gamez, Aurelio “Jun” Buiser, Jr., and Maria Lourdes “Lu Lu” Rigonan as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours. to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday January 5th from 4-7 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield, MA. Private burial will be held at a later date in New York.
