Miller, Ann Julia L’Heureux 89, passed away peacefully at Village House, Newport RI on December 28, 2011.
Ann was the daughter of William Noble and Lydia Ann (McGlew) McKinney and the widow of Cliff B. L’Heureux and subsequently the widow of John Miller. She graduated from Dorchester High School and had a long career as a secretary and administrator. Ann retired from R.S. Means & Co at age 70 after more than 25 years at the company. Ann loved to sing and was a member of the Plymouth MA chapter of the Sweet Adelines for many years. She was a talented cook, seamstress, quilter, and knitter creating countless items for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Clifford W. L’Heureux of Dania Beach, FL, Paul J. L’Heureux of Eustis, FL, and Robert J. L’Heureux of Mirror Lake, NH and two daughters, Diane M. L’Heureux of Middletown, RI and Annette L. L’Heureux of Hull, MA. Ann was the proud Nana to ten grandsons and two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3 at 10:30am at the First Parish Church, 842 Tremont St. Duxbury, MA with interment at Mayflower Cemetery following the service.
