Geraldine DiCarlo age 36, of Framingham, formerly of Sudbury, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.
Born in Framingham, she was the beloved daughter of Flavio and Marie G. (Orifice) DiCarlo of Natick formerly of Sudbury.
Geraldine throughout her life courageously dealt with Ushers Syndrome and Nemaline Myopathy. She was a graduate of the Learning Center for Deaf Children in Framingham and attended Gallaudet University in Washington D.C.
Despite her lifelong Illness, she was always positive, loving, determined not to be held back, and known by those close to her as “a sweet soul”.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her two devoted sisters, Anna Hagopian and her husband Michael Sean of Shrewsbury, Gina Marie Arthur and her husband Dana Edward of Natick, two nieces, Britni Dianne Hagopian and Emily Marie Arthur, two nephews, who Geraldine was also the proud God Parent of, Michael Sarkis Hagopian and Brian Flavio Arthur.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Interment St Patrick’s Cemetery.
