WEBSTER—Mark Galvin 50, of Webster, and a former resident of Franklin, died Saturday Christmas Eve December 24, 2011 at the Harrington Memorial Hospital in Webster following an illness.
Born October 25, 1961 in Boston, a son of the late Richard W. and Marie A. (Raymond) Galvin, he had been a resident of Webster for the past year.
Mark, a man who faced many challenges in his life, lived every day to its fullest, he never complained, always had a smile on his face and was always eager to give a hug. He will be remembered as a sweet man who enjoyed old TV shows which included Sanford and Sons, the Adams Family, and the Munster’s. He loved the Boston Bruins & the Red Sox, looking at antique cars, and trips to Foxwoods.
He is survived by his extended family which includes; Deborah and Kenneth Raymond of Webster and Rose D’Ascenzo of Franklin, and everyone at the Kennedy-Donovan Center in Milford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Friday December 30th, at 10AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
