AUBURN-Judith Ann (St. Francis) Durgin, 58, of Auburn died Monday, December 26th after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 38 years and the love of her life, Donald A. Durgin; two sons, Michael P. Durgin and his wife, Melissa of North Oxford and Timothy P. Durgin of Auburn; her daughter Dawn M. Simone and her fiancée, Brian Prunier of Auburn; her brother, Ernest W. St. Francis, Jr. and his wife Colleen of Auburn; four sisters, Kathleen Monahan of Worcester, Linda Almeida of Sturbridge, Janice Castagno of Marlborough and Nancy Almeida of Leicester; and 6 grandchildren, Giuliana, Marissa, Makenzie, Michael, Bailey and Adam; several in-laws and aunts and uncles.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Ernest W. St. Francis, Sr. and Shirley (Cronin) St. Francis. Mrs. Durgin had worked as a sales associate for Sears after she had raised her family. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren; and loved travelling to vacation spots, her favorites being Hampton Beach and Florida.
Her funeral is Friday, December 30th with a service at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Thursday, December 29th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
