New Bedford – John Michael DeBarros, 30, of County Street, New Bedford, died Monday, March 15, 2004, unexpectedly at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Born in New Bedford the son of John F. and June D. (Cory) DeBarros, he had lived in New Bedford most of his life. He was a cancer survivor who enjoyed playing his bass guitar and fishing.
Survivors including his parents are a daughter: Crystal Beth DeBarros of New Bedford; a sister: Dawn M. DeBarros of Fall River; maternal grandmother: Natalie Ochs of New Bedford; paternal grandmother: Viola DeBarros of South Dartmouth; and a nephew: Justin Sounik of Fall River.
He was also the maternal grandson of the late Orrin Cory and the paternal grandson of the late John DeBarros.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford.
Calling Hours are omitted.
Interment will be private.
