Sister of Leonard Doherty of East Dennis, Neal Doherty of Winchester, Marjorie Middleton of Kennebunkport, ME., Louise and Paul Doherty both of Woburn. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Monday, March 22, at 10:30 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Marion V. Reil, a lifelong resident of Woburn passed away on Thursday, March 18, at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody, following a extended illness, the wife of the late Francis J. Reil, she was eighty-two years old.
She was the daughter of the late Mary (Connolly) and Neal Doherty. Marion was the purchasing agent for the former Gustavo-Preston Company of Boston and later located in Woburn for over thirty years before her retirement in 1983. She was a avid Boston Red Sox and Ted Williams Fan. Marion was dedicated to her family, their care and happiness were very important to her.
Surviving are her children Francis “Jimmy” Reil of Woburn and Paula L. Brooke and her husband Paul of Georgia, her three brothers, Leonard Doherty of East Dennis, Neal Doherty of Winchester and Paul Doherty of Woburn, two sisters, Marjorie Middleton of Kewnnebunkport, ME., and Louise Doherty of Woburn.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Monday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 11:30. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
