Mary R. (Kalil-Kraby) Savastano, 78, passed away Friday December 23, 2011 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was a Lawrence resident prior to moving to Derry twenty years ago. She had been employed at the former Western Electric in North Andover for over thirty years until her retirement in 1988. Mary was a member of St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church in Lawrence where she was a member of the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Pioneers of America.
Mary enjoyed traveling and her frequent trips to Foxwoods.
Mary was predeceased by her late husbands Robert Kraby and Louis Savastano.
She leaves her brothers, Dr. Joseph G. Kalil and his wife Helen of Methuen
Thomas Kalil and his wife Mary Lou of Florida, her sister Theresa Traxler of Lawrence.
Step children Richard Savastano and his wife Vickie of Florida, Kathleen Tearno and her husband Daniel of Virginia, Karen Savastano wife of the late Michael Savastano of Salem, NH.
Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as several step grandchildren and great grandchildren

Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation on Tuesday December 27, 2011 from 5 PM to 6 PM at St. Anthony Maronite Church 145 Amesbury St. Lawrence, MA. Everyone is encouraged to attend the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 6 PM at the church immediately following the visitation. Burial services will be private.
