Yvonne M. (Salicrup) Werthessen, 63, of Little Compton, RI died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Puerto Rico, she was daughter of the late Jorge Salicrup and the late Manuelita Jovet Salicrup. She was a Spanish translator for Pacific Interpreters. A spiritual person with her faith, Mrs. Werthessen was a wonderful mother and friend who loved the beach and animals, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include 2 sons: Arthur Malarchik of IL and Albert Malarchik of Newport, RI; a daughter: Shalonne W. Halstead of Tiverton; a brother: George Salicrup of Westport; and 3 grandchildren: Samuel, Anika and Makenna.
