Methuen Firefighter Robert George age 46 of Methuen, MA, died Wednesday at his home after an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Methuen, MA, grew up and was schooled in Lawrence & Methuen, MA. He lived most of his life in Methuen, having also lived in Groveland, MA.
Rob was a Methuen, MA firefighter, where he worked for 16 years. He also was the co-owner of Labrador Property Management. He was a licensed electrician and contractor. Rob was a member of the IAFF and he was so proud to be in the brotherhood of firefighters and loved them all like his own brothers. He loved boating and his camp on Sebago Lake in Maine. Rob was a hard worker and loved being with his family and friends. Rob was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first two grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Monday, Dec. 26th from 2-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Church, Methuen, MA.
