Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, December 21, 2011, Mr. James “Ron” Davis, 64, husband of the late Mrs. Jean Collins Whitney.
Mr. Davis was a native of Columbia, SC but lived in Augusta most of his life. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He was an avid golfer and Braves fan.
Family members include daughter: Jennifer Pippin (Nick) of Martinez; sister: Linda A. Philips (Gregg) of Ridgeland, SC; grandchildren: Emma Whitney Pippin and Olivia Kate Pippin. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Whitney Davis and sister Dorothy Jean Davis.
