Loving father of Annmarie Sheehan of Dedham, Eileen Sheehan – Bishop and her husband Scott of Foxboro, Kathleen Sheehan and John Kearney of Dedham and the late James F. “Jay” Sheehan Jr. and his wife Kristen of Dedham. Grandfather of Matthew, Thomas and his wife Jamie, Kevin, Sean and Mark. Great grandfather of Matthew, David and James and their mother June. Brother of Gertrude Olsen of Somerville and the late Leo Sheehan and Marguerite MacKessey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and dear friends. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Friday Dec. 23rd. at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) at 10:30am. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm. Relatives and friends invited. Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran WWII and was the recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
