Marjorie A. Mitchell, of Everett, died Monday after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, she lived in Everett since 1992 and formerly of Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Christina (Ferguson) and Lawrence Dowd.
Marjorie was a Homemaker and loved to play Bingo.
Beloved wife of the late John Mitchell. Devoted mother of Maureen Connors and her husband Paul of North Andover, John Mitchell and his wife Betty of Everett and the late Kathleen McCarthy. Mother in law of Stephen McCarthy of Somerville. Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren. Sister of Gertrude Mitchell of TN, Marie Wilson of CA and the late Lawrence Dowd.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
