William A. "Billy" Mosher, a lifelong resident of Somerville, died unexpectedly at his home in Somerville on Saturday, December 17, 2011. He was 48 years old.
Billy was born in Somerville on May 10, 1963 to the late Gary and Muriel (Sinnott) Mosher. He grew up in Somerville and attended the Somerville Public School system where he graduated from Somerville High School in 1981. Billy had been working for the City of Somerville for many years and recently as Custodian for the Somerville School Department. Billy was a member of The Dante Club of Somerville.
Billy is the beloved son of the late Gary and Muriel (Sinnott) Mosher. He is survived by his angel on earth Robin Legee of Somerville. He is the devoted brother of Gary Mosher and his wife Cheryl of Stoneham and David Mosher and his wife Sandy of Malden. He is the loving uncle of Lauren Mosher, Brianne Mosher and Christopher Mosher. Billy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Billy's visiting hours on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by his Funeral Service at 7 p.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Melrose. Burial is private. A reception to honor and remember Billy will be held on Friday morning, December 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at The Dante Club, Craige St. Somerville.
