Barbara A. Hanley, 72, of Saunders Brook Road, Chepachet, died Sunday December 18, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Robert F. Hanley. They were married for 49 years.
Born in Wilmington, DE, she was a daughter of the late Henry Samluk and Regina (Talarowski) Barone and stepdaughter of the late Eugene Barone. She lived in Pawtucket before moving to Chepachet 17 years ago.
Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Edward M. Hanley of Providence, Darleen M. Barboza of Cumberland and Kim L. Delannoy of Cumberland; siblings, Eugene Barone of Wilmington, DE, Chris Rivera of Kissimmee, FL, Donna Ward of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, Francis Barone of Wilmington, DE, Renee Longstreet of Maryland, Maurice Barone of Wilmington, DE, Michele Gibson of Wilmington, DE and Michael Barone of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, James, Robert, Stephanie, Christopher, Jerry, Joshua and Jesse and great-grandchildren, Ali and Lili.
Her funeral will be held Thursday 9:45am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am in St. Eugene Church, 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Visitation Wednesday 4 -6pm. Burial private.
