Patricia C. (Cruise) DiPasqua, 58, of Mattapoisett died Sunday December 18, 2011 while being lovingly embraced by her family and friends after a lengthy and courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was the loving wife of Leonard J. DiPasqua.
Patty was born in Brockton on December 9, 1953. She was the daughter of Kathryn (Orient) Cruise of Brockton and the late James P. Cruise, Sr. Raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School class of 1971 and later received her Associates Degree from Massasoit Community College. She had resided in Mattapoisett for the last 29 years.
Patty was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.
She was employed as a secretary by William B. Muldoon, D.D.S., for many years.
Patty will be remembered by many for her friendship and quiet acts of love and kindness over the years. She was an avid runner and participated in many local road races.
Patty is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Leonard DiPasqua; her loving children, Albert J. DiPasqua and his wife Pamela of Whitman and James P. DiPasqua of Fairhaven; her two grandchildren, Halle and Dylan DiPasqua; her mother, Kathryn (Orient) Cruise; her two brothers, Thomas F. Cruise and his wife Kathy of Canton and James P. Cruise, Jr. of Brockton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loyal cousins.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett Friday, December 23rd at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church, 22 Barstow St. Mattapoisett at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday, December 21st from 4-8 PM and Thursday, December 22nd from 4-8 PM.
