Janet M. (Desmarais) Hansen, 74, of Middleboro died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Golden Living Center, Middleboro. She was wife of the late George W. Hansen, Jr.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Leo J. and Edna (Gagne) Desmarais, she had lived in Tiverton, RI for most of her life. Mrs. Hansen had a heart of gold and was always there for her family and friends. Known for her sense of humor, she also loved to sew and play cards. She will always be loved and missed.
Survivors include 4 sons: George W. Hansen, III, Ronald R. Hansen, James Hansen and Kenneth K. Hansen all of Fall River; 2 daughters: Pauline G. Monast of Fall River and Cynthia L. Lima of Middleboro; brothers & sisters; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Tuesday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
