Branden S. Myers, 19, of Chester, NH, died Friday December 16, 2011 in the Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Peterborough, NH on November 27, 1992, a son of Glenn Myers and Darlene (Hrinchuk) Myers, and had been a lifelong resident of Chester. A graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 2011, he was involved in the Band, the Swim Team, Track, and Cross Country. Branden had attended the University of Arizona, and was a proud member of the US Army Reserves. He was an avid horseman and was a member of the National Barrel Horse Assoc. Branden was a Boy Scout, and enjoyed music, playing piano and fencing.
In addition to his parents of Chester, he is survived by his paternal grandfather, Harold Myers of Fort Pierce, FL; his paternal grandmother, Priscilla Paquette and her husband Conrad of Vero Beach, FL; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Donna Hrinchuk of North Carolina; several aunts and uncles, Dale and Janet Myers of Chester, James Hrinchuk of Goffstown, NH, and Darla Myers of St. Lucie, FL; numerous cousins; as well as the best horse in the World, Southern Jazzman. Branden also has a legacy of friends too numerous to publish.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, December 20th from 1 - 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. The family held private graveside services in Chester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Branden’s memory to The Branden Myers Fund at any TD Bank. This fund has been established to assist Branden’s family as well as to benefit Branden’s passion of assisting animals.
