Laconia- Joseph “Donald” St. Pierre, 69 of Laconia passed away peacefully on December 11, 2011 following a brief illness.
Donald was a life-long New Hampshire resident. He was born in Somersworth on August 27, 1942, and spent most of his life in the Lakes Region. Donald was an active member of the community. He spent his final years living in Laconia where he was admired and loved by his friends and caretakers.
Donald was well known for being a lively, outgoing gentleman with a contagious smile who was extremely compassionate for others. He held many jobs in the community and took great pride in being a hard worker. He was an avid Red Sox fan, watching the games and collecting memorabilia. He also enjoyed going to the rink to see the Laconia Leafs hockey games. Wherever Donald went he made new friends, endearing him into the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont followed by a reception honoring Donald’s life.
