Frank J. Hogan of Duxbury, died December 14, 2011, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Carolyn (LeGoff) Hogan for 51 years, he was the loving father of Shay Hogan Fehrnstrom and her husband Ken of Alamo, Ca., and Susan Hogan Murphy of Cumberland, RI and son in law Joe Murphy; cherished Papa of Matthew, Caitlin and Jack Murphy; devoted brother of Brian Hogan of Englewood, Fl. Frank was a self-employed Environmental Engineer. He was also an active member in the Community and served on the Holy Family Parish Council in Duxbury. Frank was also a representative to the Duxbury Interfaith Council where he served as Asst. Treasurer and Treasurer for several years. Frank won Volunteer of the Year for his devotion to serving the people of his community. Frank also proudly served in the US Navy.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 18 from 3:00 pm- 7:00pm at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home on Monday, December 19th at 10:00am followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St (Rt. 3A) Duxbury at 11:00AM.Interment in Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
