Brunswick, ME – Marion T. (Hisoire) Sawyer, 80, formerly of Leicester, died on Monday, December 12th in her son’s home in Brunswick, ME.
Her husband George K. Sawyer Jr., died in 2007. Marion is survived by two sons, Paul G. Sawyer and his wife Christine of Brunswick, ME and Michael A. Sawyer and his wife Robyn of Worcester, MA; two daughters Theresa A. Gray of Brunswick, ME and Suzanne M. Blouin and her husband Stephen of Orange Park, FL; a brother, Dennis P. Hisoire of Green Cove Springs, FL; a sister, Ruth Youmans of Leicester, MA; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Sawyer was born in Worcester, MA daughter of the late Wilfred and Evelyn (Lavallee) Hisoire and is predeceased by two brothers Wilfred J. Hisoire and Robert L.P. Hisoire. Marion worked for many years as a licensed nurse’s aide.
She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Saint Pius X Church in Leicester, MA.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 17th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester, MA with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Pius X Church 1161 Main Street Leicester, MA. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester, MA. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 16th from 6 to 8 in the funeral home.
