Paola (Quattropani) Morelli, of Somerville, died Friday at her daughter’s home in Hanson. She was 94. Paola was born in Hartford, Conn., the daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Vincenza (Calleri) Quattropani. As a young lady she went to Italy with her parents and after her marriage came back to the United States, first to Boston’s North End and then to Somerville, where she lived the rest of her life. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, cooking for her family and old time movies on television.
The beloved wife of the late Luigi, She was a devoted mother to Nancy Morelli-Moniz of Hanson, Lydia Diana of Somerville, Luca Morelli and his wife Rosalie of Saugus and was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves her dear brother, Giuseppe Quattropani of Italy.
Her Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Thursday, December 15th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St Ann Church, 399 Medford St. Somerville at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
