Eva V. Moyen 70, died Saturday at Coventry Health Center. She was the wife of the late Adelard Moyen Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Frances (Scopino) Daignault. Eva was a homemaker and foster mother, her greatest joy was caring for her children and foster children, of which she had many. Her door was always open for her many friend as well as any children that needed her.
She is survived by four sons, Omer Trudeau of Madison, AL, Robert Trudeau of Norton, MA, Scott Trudeau of W. Greenwich, and Adelard Moyen Jr. of Johnston, four daughters; Michelle Brofer of Smithfield, Darlene Trudeau of Harrisville, Lynn Trudeau of Yorktown, VA, and Dee Moyen of Woonsocket, a brother Harold Daignault of N. Smithfield, a sister Frances Lessard of Woonsocket, thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many foster children. She was also the sister of the late Albert Daignault and Edward Daignault Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Coventry Health Center for the loving care they provided during her time there. As well, as a special thank you to Rev. Ken Steigler of Wake
Forest, NC. for providing Mom and family with spiritual support.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 - 11:30 AM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a service beginning at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Theresa's Cemetery in Nasonville. In lieu of flowers donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, RI Branch 2374 Post Rd.
