Jeane Johnson Pruitt, 91, of Tifton died Nov. 29, 2011, at Dillard House. Private services and burial were held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011n in Duncan, Okla.
Mrs. Pruitt was a resident of Duncan for over 80 years and an active member of First Christian Church for over 70 years, before she moved to Tifton. She also founded several charitable organizations in Duncan and enjoyed many lifelong friendships.
Preceding her in death were her daughter, Veda Jane; her husband, Milton; two sisters, Carol Reed and Anna Stephens; one brother, Howard; and her parents, Stillman and Valene Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Milla and Bill Branch; grandson, Josh of Athens; a granddaughter, Mia; a great-granddaughter, Madeline; a beloved niece, Patty Stephens of Michigan; and two special nephews, A. Ralph Reed of Denver, Colo., and Don Reed of Norman, Okla.
