PATTON - Aurelia "Betzi" Patton, 75, passed away Wednesday morning, December 7, 2011 in Chapel Hill, NC. She was born April 2, 1936 in Jacksonville, FL and made her home in Fernandina Beach, FL for over 20 years before moving to North Caroline three years ago.
Mrs. Patton enjoyed her family, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an award winning seamstress.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Patton of Durham, NC and Kay Patton of Juneau, AK; a son, Robert Russell Patton (Jill) of Marinette, WI; her sister Melissa A. Mincey, of Franklin, NC; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, at Eubanks Cemetery in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Green Pine Funeral Home.
