Of Brockton Dec 4th, Joseph (Tudie) husband of Roberta F (Barone) died after a brief illness in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
He was born in Brockton son of the late Harold and Florence (Hayes) Pierce. He was a painter for the James Hughes Co. and also drove taxi for checker cab both in Randolph. Tudie enjoyed fishing, going to the various casino's and was an avid Yankee's fan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 sons, Joey Pierce of Brockton, Raymond Tevlin of Fla. and Mike Tevlin of Calf. 5 daughters, Joanne Verre of Kingston, Kathy Duff and Carol Reynolds both of Wareham, Brenda Farland of Dartmouth and Tina Tevlin of Brockton. 15 grandchildren, 23 great grand, 3 great great grand also a brother Robert Pierce of N. Carolina.
Funeral services from the home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St Brockton Friday Dec 9th at 8 am followed by a Mass in St. Patrick Church at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
