Joan M. “Joanie” Guarino, 61 of Somerville, died Saturday after a long illness.
Born in Somerville, a lifelong resident she was the daughter of the late Augusta (Tansino) and Patrick Sullivan. Joan was very active and involved with the Senior Citizens in Somerville.
Beloved wife of Angelo. Devoted mother of Jason Guarino and is wife Diana of Somerville. Loving grandmother of Jordyn Grace Guarino. Sister of Daniel Sullivan of Somerville and the late Patrick “Patty” Sullivan. Also survived by many loving family and friends.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Benedict Church, 21 Hathorn St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 2 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
