Mr. Dennis A. Corriea, of Taunton, died unexpectedly, Monday, November 28 at his late parents residence in Swanton, Vt. He was the husband of Denise (Rachubinski) Corriea. He was born 59 years ago in St. Albans, Vt., the son of the late Alfred J. “Chuck” and Ardell (Richard) Corriea. He was educated in Taunton and had been a city resident for most of his life. He was formerly employed as a foreman for Arley Manufacturing of Taunton for 28 years. Dennis was a former member of the Black Diamonds Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed hunting in Maine, fishing, sports, especially the New York Yankees, crossword puzzles, spending time with his family and his dogs, Maddie and Reggie. He also enjoyed gardening, and took great pride in his lawn and flowers.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 2 daughters: Shannon Martin and Erin Corriea both of Taunton; 1 sister: Patricia Unwin of St. Albans, Vt., and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Chuckie Corriea of Maine.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Thursday, December 8 at 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will precede the Service, Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
