Michael C. Pincelli DMD, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Rose and Alfred Pincelli, he was the devoted husband of 43 years to Nancy Reardon Pincelli. Dr. Pincelli is survived by his son Tim and his wife Christine, daughter Sara Denoncourt and her husband Chris. He was the grandfather of Zoe, Tyler, Isabelle, and Gabrielle. He was brother of Mary Rose Boglione and her husband Bruno of Florence, Italy.
A Plymouth native, he was educated in the Sacred Heart Schools in Kingston. He attended Tufts University and received his DMD degree from Tufts Dental School. Upon graduation he entered the Air Force as Captain. He began his practice in 1968 where he remained for 40 years until his retirement. His interests included boating, fishing, woodworking, and traveling to his home in Captiva, Florida. But what he enjoyed most was his family and time spent with friends.
An active member of is community, he was a man of tremendous faith and a loyal supporter of Sacred Heart Schools and the Sisters of Divine Providence, who he credited for his education and considered an extension of family. Over the years, Dr. Pincelli served on the Board of Catholic Charities in Brockton and Sacred Heart Advisory Board. He was a member of the South Shore District Dental Society, Jordan Hospital Dental Staff, and was Past Commodore of Plymouth Yacht Club. Dr. Pincelli was the proud owner of a 1930 antique fire truck and would bring Santa Claus to town for the annual tree lighting ceremony. He was a Santa in his own right, visiting the local nursing homes and Jordan Hospital for many years on Christmas Eve.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 8th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. in North Plymouth, 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday December 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church in North Plymouth. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth.
