Pelham, New Hampshire – Donald K. Beaulieu, 63 died December 2, 2011, after a courageous nine year battle with cancer, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lawrence, Ma. August 4, 1948 he was the son of the late Raymond and Loretta (Courteau) Beaulieu. A Veteran and avid aviator, he raised his family in Pelham, NH with Eileen M. (McClintock) Beaulieu, his wife of 43 years, and was the proud owner and operator of Crown Glass & Door Company.
Don was an active member of the Glaziers Local 1044 and belonged to the Airplane Owners Pilot Association (AOPA). Don enjoyed golfing as a member of the Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club in Ft. Myers, Florida, and before that, as a member of the Nashua Country Club. He also loved spending time with his grandsons including traveling to ice rinks up and down the northeast to watch them play hockey.
Survivors include his wife, and his daughter, Christine L. and her husband James F. along with his grandsons, Joshua, Joseph, and Alexander Kennedy, of Methuen, MA. Don is also survived by a brother, Raymond L. and his wife Barbara Beaulieu of Nashua, NH, and sisters Cynthia A. Shumsky of Atkinson, NH, and Cathy M. and her husband Mark Poisson of Chelmsford, MA as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends will be warmly received on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
