Obituary

Marjorie R. Grady 85, of Natick, died Wednesday November 30, 2011 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald J. Grady who died in 2009.

A Natick resident for 39 years she was born in Brockton the daughter of the late George and Sarah (Ramsdell) Grady. Marjorie was a Registered Nurse for many years. She spent time teaching and working in the public health field. Among the many accomplishments during her career, the one of which she was most proud, was being a nurse for the first successful kidney transplant. She loved animals, especially her beloved cat Vinnie.

Marjorie is survived by her nieces and nephews Diane Nehls and her husband Ray of Kennewick WA, Linda Grady of Waltham, John Grady and his wife Maureen of Foxboro, Catherine Giampa, and her husband Joel of Bonita Springs Fl, cousins David Morton of Newton, William Morton of Weston, Liz Morton Sauro of Newton as well as her “Neighborhood Family” in Natick. She was also the sister of the late June Lepisto.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday December 3 at 8:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial  9:00 A.M.in St Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street Natick. Visiting hours are Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Interment Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell.
