Obituary

SPENCER: Lucille O. (LaBrie) Gadbois,86, of 8 South St., died Wednesday, Nov. 30 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester after a brief illness.

She was the wife of George J. Gadbois who died in 1981. She leaves four sons Ronald L. Gadbois and his wife Ruth of So.Kingstown, RI, George Francis Gadbois of Byron, Ga., Laurence A. Gadbois and his wife Carrie of Dover, N.H., and Richard L. Gadbois of Spencer, four daughters Ann Marie E. Gadbois and Suzanne M. Lavallee and her husband Raymond all of Spencer, Jeannine A. Gabriel of Arlington, TX., and Cecile M. Gadbois and Steven Boyd of N.Brookfield, her brother Leon LaBrie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three sisters Gertrude LaBrie of Worcester, Marguerite Houde of Grafton and Cecile Anderson of Shrewsbury, 10 grand, 15 great grand and 4 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Theresa Plamondon.

Lucille was cafeteria worker for the Spencer School System (Lake St. School), retiring in 1984.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Lionel and Cecile (Caron) LaBrie and was educated in Worcester Schools.

She was a longtime member and former 4-H Leader for the Worcester County 4-H Club (Spencer), member of the Spencer Garden Club and member of Mary,Queen of the Rosary Parish. She enjoyed travel, crafts and collected dolls from all over the world.

The funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 5 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Sunday, Dec. 4 from 4 to 7p.m. Flowers may be sent or contributions made to Worcester County 4-H Club, Camp Marshall, 92 McCormick Rd., Spencer, Ma. 01562.
