Hollis W. Beaudry Sr., 80, of Manchester, NH died November 28, 2011 at Catholic Medical Center after a period of failing health.
He was born in Sangerville, ME May 16, 1931 to J. Edward and Mary (McCarvill) Beaudry. He graduated from Sangerville High School in 1949 then entered the US Army where he served as a Sergeant during the Korean Conflict. He had been a Manchester resident most of his life.
Mr. Beaudry retired in 1993 from General Cable Co. in Manchester where he had worked for many years.
He leaves his wife of 21 years, Cecile (Quirion) Lessard Beaudry of Manchester; a son, Hollis W. “Sonny” Beaudry Jr; daughters Martha, Rosemary, Renee, Becky and special and beloved step daughter, Nancy Lessard; a brother, Edward L. Beaudry of Sangerville, ME; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A committal service with military honors was held Friday, December 2, 2011 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
