Carolyn M. (Kehoe) Chapman, 72, a lifelong resident of Natick, passed away on November 27, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Philip D. Chapman with whom she shared 54 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Boston, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Heavey. She was educated in the Natick School System and a graduate of Natick High School, Class of 1957. She enjoyed working for a number of years at Howard Johnson’s on the MA Turnpike in Natick where her father was the manager before beginning her professional career. Carolyn was the Facilities Management Coordinator at The Dana Hall School in Wellesley for 10 years, the Purchasing Agent for Future Electronics in Westborough, and then the Purchasing Agent for MPM Electronics from where she retired in 2002. Carolyn was well known for walking around Natick and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and entertaining in her home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her beloved children, Debora Bisson and her husband Robert of West Barnet, VT and Elizabeth Donahue and her husband Mark of Natick; her cherished grandchildren, Katherine Shaw, Brendon Donahue, Todd Bisson, and Ashlee Bisson; and great-grandchildren Rabecca and Cameron. She was the dear sister of Susan Guzman and her husband Manuel of Puerto Rico and William Heavey and his wife Vicky of Wareham; sister-in-law of Duncan Chapman and his wife Lynn of Harvard; and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Carolyn’s funeral leaving from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 9:00 AM to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, Natick at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 4-8 PM.
