Phyllis M. (Staffier) Capobianco, of Medford, died Wednesday at the North End Community Nursing Home. She was 84.
Mrs. Capobianco was born and raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Rocco and the late Mary Agnes (Crowley) Staffier.
Phyllis lived most of her life in Medford. She spent 20 years in Michigan while her husband was employed there. She was the one-time proprieter of the “Treasure Cove”, a gift shop at Bearskin Neck in Rockport, MA.
She was the beloved wife of the late Nicola Capobianco, who died in 1996. She leaves her children: Joseph Bianco, David Bianco, Carol Bianco-Caradonna, William Capobianco, and Richard Bianco. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.She was the sister of Francis Staffier and the late Paul, Robert and James Staffier.
Friends and relatives may call Sunday 3 - 7 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, Monday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
