Oxford – Armand W. LeBeau, 84, of 262 Main St. formerly of Worcester died on Friday March 12 in the Meadows of Leicester
His wife Julie R. (Godek) LeBeau died in 1974. Mr. LeBeau is survived by a son William A. LeBeau of Auburn; three daughters Kathleen J. Checkoway of Dennis, MA, Nancy E. Heath of Oxford and Sharon L. Brunell of Worcester; a brother Adrien LeBeau of Worcester; a sister Marie Hamel of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, several nephews and nieces and a close friend Beverly Stevens of Worcester. Mr. LeBeau is predeceased by two brothers Roland LeBeau and Arthur LeBeau and a sister Beatrice Lacey. He was born in Worcester son of Francois and Emily (DuPont) LeBeau and served in the United States Army during World War II.
He worked as a self employed plasterer for many years before retiring in 1997. Mr. LeBeau also worked for Harrison Paving Co. as a maintenance man.
He was a member of the Tatnuck American Legion Post, Fifth Armored Division Association and a former member of the Singletary Rod & Gun Club.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Monday March 15 in St. Ann’s Church 654 Main St. North Oxford. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are on Sunday March 14 from 5 to 8 PM in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester.
