Sarah Gottlieb (Price) of Chelsea passed away at age 95 on November 26, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Nelson Gottlieb.
Sarah was a lifelong resident of Chelsea and attended the Chelsea schools and high school. She was a long time employee of Eastern Baking Company. Sarah was a life member of the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Women’s Auxillary and loved playing Bingo regularly. Sarah was the dear sister of the late Etta Gerber, Martha Fink, Julius Price, Henry Price, Rose Berdan, Saul Price, Ida Carpenter, and George Price. She was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq.) Chelsea on Wednesday, November 30 at 11:30 AM. Interment in Lynn. Contributions in Sarah’s memory may be made to the Cohen Florence Levine Estates, Bingo Sponsorship, 201 Captains Row, Chelsea, MA 02150.
