Helen Floyd Hogan, 84, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday, March 13, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.J. Funk and Rev. Kelly Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Friday.
Mrs. Hogan was born February 12, 1920, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Madison Early Floyd and Eula Jane Bender Floyd. She was preceded in death by her husband Perry Hogan. Mrs. Hogan was a retired first grade school teacher. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, the Order of the Eastern Star and St. Peter’s United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hogan is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Angela H. and Glenn Davis, Fitzgerald; three grandchildren: Jason Davis, Fitzgerald, Anna Beth Brooks, Augusta, GA and Brett Davis, Fitzgerald; two sisters: Eleanor F. Bullington, Fitzgerald and Julia F. Williams, New Orleans, LA.
