Denise A. Boudreau-Sacco a Woburn native passed away peacefully on November 25th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Donald G. Sacco. Born in Winchester 63 years ago she was the daughter of the late Kathryn C. (Bekkenhuis) and Laurence J. Carpenter Sr.
Denise was raised in Woburn's east side and was educated in the Woburn School System. She graduated from Woburn High School with the class of 1966 and was a member of the Cheerleading Team and was also active with the Black and Orange Reviews. To Denise family was everything, she loved to cook and entertain family and friends whenever possible. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family and she especially cherished her time with her loving grandchildren whom she was most proud of.
In addition to her beloved husband Donald, She is survived by her five children; Walter "Gil" Boudreau and his partner Kim Coburn of Marshfield, Marc Boudreau and his wife Kerri of Walpole, Gregory Boudreau and his wife Donna of Franklin, Kathryn Boudreau of Winthrop, Daniel Boudreau and his wife Emily of Franklin. She was the loving grandmother of eleven grandchildren and the cherished sister of Maureen Sacco of Arizona, Laurence Carpenter Jr. of Bedford, Michael Carpenter of Chelmsford, Mary Carpenter, Jane O'Dea, Brian and Kevin Carpenter all of Woburn.
Funeral services will be held from McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday, November 29th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
