Elena (Giordano) Camplese of Billerica, formerly of Stoneham and Medford, died peacefully at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. She was 88.
Elena was born and raised in Boston’s North End, the daughter of the late Savino and the late Saveria (Palermo) Giordano. She worked as a stitcher in the clothing industry as a young woman, but once married, devoted her self to the care of her family. She enjoyed the company of her family and friends and will be missed by those who knew her.
The beloved wife of the late Ettore Camplese, she leaves her devoted son Edward of Billerica as well as many dear nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Lucy Rizzo, Janet Fiumara, Margaret, Louis, Domenic, Carmen and Thomas Giordano.
Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, November 26th from 11 AM until 1 PM with a funeral service in the funeral home at 1PM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
