Worcester--Alice (Bilbilian) Surabian, 88, of 16 Brookside Avenue formerly of High Ridge Road died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 in UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Arthur O. Surabian; a son and daughter-in-law Arthur M. and Carol A.Surabian of Mashpee; a grandson, Matthew M. Surabian of Mashpee; a brother, Harold Bilbilian of Worcester; one niece; one nephew; and several cousins.
Mrs. Surabian was born in Providence, daughter of Haig and Toorvanda (Tatarian) Bilbilian. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and worked as a manager at the former Brockelmann Markets managerial department. She also worked as office manager for the former Worcester News Recorder.Mrs.Surabian was a member of The Armenian Church of Our Saviour and was a former organist and member of the church choir. She was also an avid bingo player.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 13, at 11:00 am in The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, March 12, from 5 - 8 pm at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street.
