Obituary

Mrs. Mary I DeAngelis, of Medford, died Monday in Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge. She is the beloved wife of Euplio DeAngelis with whom she shared more than 65 years of marriage. Mrs. DeAngelis was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Angelo and Rafaella (DeMarco) Carbone. She was raised in Boston’s North End where she attended local schools. Mrs. DeAngelis has been a resident of Medford for the past 48 years. She was considered and extraordinary baker. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid Bingo player. She was a fixture at St. Francis of Assisi Bingo and enjoyed occasional trips to Foxwoods. She dabbled in ceramics and other crafts. Never forgetting her roots, she often ventured into the North End and particularly enjoyed the Feast of St. Anthony. In addition to her beloved husband, she leaves 3 sons, Anthony DeAngelis of Medford, Joseph DeAngelis and his wife Susan, John DeAngelis and his wife Rosemarie all of Tewksbury. Loving Grandmother of Nicole, Joseph and Michael DeAngelis. Dear sister of the late Reverend Angelo Carbone. She will be sadly missed by her beloved pet dog "Brandy" Funeral from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main Street MEDFORD on Saturday at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
