She was a "yard sale queen" who enjoyed her Saturdays with her longtime friend of fifty years, Carol Aresenault. She enjoyed making Christmas cookies for everyone.

She was a member of the French Culture Club of Acushnet.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane Sanders-Epps and her husband Joseph of New Bedford and Janice Ann Lefebvre and her husband Roger of Wareham; a son, Norman Boucher of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Florence Carbonneau of Vista, CA and Rita Lavoie of Tiverton, RI; her very special grandchildren, Jeffrey Sanders and his wife Jennifer of Fairhaven and Richard Sanders and his wife Erika of Taunton; her sister-in-law, Mary Chandler of New Bedford; and several nieces, nephews and extended family, including Joseph Epps Jr. and Savannah Epps of Buzzards Bay, Wayne Farnsworth of Coral Springs, FL, and Akihiro and Keiko Sugimoto of Yaizu, Japan.
