Steven Colmer age 53 formerly of Canton of Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida passed away unexpectedly November 17th. Born in Boston, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School and Massasoit Community College of Culinary Arts. He worked as a Chef on the USS Connecticut for several years as well as several restaurants. Beloved son of Kenneth & Ruth (McLaughlin) Colmer of Canton. Brother of Dr. Kenneth Colmer & his wife Lori of Yarmouthport, Kathleen Berteletti & her husband Paul of Sandwich, Lisa Boyd of Norwood & Timothy Colmer of FL. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Wednesday morning at 10. Burial private.
