Jo Ann (Centrella) Garue, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford died Friday at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington. She was 63.
Jo Ann was raised in Medford, and lived over 30 years in Stoneham. JoAnn owned and operated ASAP Inc, a data entry firm. Later she worked as a personal shopper for the former Filenes in Boston. JoAnn was devoted to her family and friends, sharing special bonds with her mother, grandchildren, nephews, as well as her husband and children. She enjoyed traveling and occasionally trying her luck at Mohegan. She was a good friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.
The beloved wife of Eugene Garue, she was a devoted mother to Jennifer Bakr and her husband Adam of Wakefield, Justin Garue and Jessica Garue, both of Medford. She leaves her dear nephews: Joseph and Mark Mansfield, both of Medford. She was a loving “Nannie” to Adam Lawrence, Olivia Nola and Cole Joseph. The cherished daughter of Mary Centrella of Stoneham and the late Joseph she was predeceased by her sister Nola Mansfield and brother, Lawrence Centrella.
JoAnn’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, November, 23 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family, Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
