Michael J. “Mic” McDonald of Fremont, NH, formerly of Medford, passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, November 13th with his wife by his side. He was just 36 years old. Born in Oakland, California on March 3, 1975, he was raised in Medford.
He is survived by his wife Amie (Newbanks) McDonald of Fremont,NH, who loved him more than life itself, as well as his loving mother Elena (Maffioli) Hazard and stepfather Mark Hazard, and his grandmother Virginia “Nonna” Maffioli all of Medford. His in-laws, Dale and Mary Ann Newbanks of Homosassa, Florida loved Michael as if he were their own son. Loving brother of Christopher McDonald and his wife Kristina of Watertown and Elena McDonald of California.
Michael will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom played an important role in his life.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street., Medford, Saturday, Nov. 19th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis DeSales Church, 313 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Interment will be private.
