LINDA (FELKER) CHILDRESS COLBY, 63, passed away suddenly November 7, 2011.
We lost a beautiful woman, my mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
She was predeceased by her son, Joseph Childress; mother, Marie Lee; sister, Dorothy; brothers, Keith and David.
She is survived by her life partner, Joe Pannill; her daughter, Melissa Smith (James), grandchildren, Chasity Childress (Jerry), Ryan Glenn (Jenny), Jon Childress (Katie), Tiffany Bragg (James), Stephen Bragg and James Childress; her great grandchildren, JoLee and Nickles Rubano, Alayna Childress, Henlee Glenn, and Anthony Stanley; sisters, Louise, Susie and Josephine; brothers, George and Russell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held in honor of Linda’s life and legacy from 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
