Manchester– Sr. Rita L. Beaulieu, Sisters of Charity, 82, died November 15, 2011 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester, NH on January 10, 1929 the daughter of Andre and Laura (Hebert) Beaulieu.
She entered the Novitiate August 2, 1949 and pronounced her Perpetual Vows August 20, 1957 in Ste. Hyacinthe, PQ Canada. She was instrumental in running the financial responsibilities at St. Peters Day Care for over 30 years. She will be dearly missed.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 3 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
Family members include her sister Sr. Bertha Beaulieu PM of Manchester, her brother, Gerald R. Beaulieu of Greenville, SC, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Alsace Sts. Burial will be in Sisters of St. Hyacinthe Cemetery, St. Hyacinthe, PQ.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sisters of Charity Haitian Mission, c/o 300 Kelley St. Manchester, NH 03102.
