Mary L. (Fuggetti) Ruggiero, of Plymouth, died suddenly on November 15th at the age of 89. The beloved wife of the late Nicholas Ruggiero, she is survived by her daughters Lucille Silva and her husband Daniel of Plymouth and Ann Marie Santos and her husband George of Plymouth. She also leaves her sisters Ann Cardini of CT and Rose Johnson of Brockton, her grandson Nick Santos, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Frances Fahey.
Daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Azzelino) Fuggetti, Mary was born in Brockton and has lived in Plymouth for over 63 years. She was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Golden Agers. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, reading, gardening and especially spending time with her family.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday November 18th at St. Peter’s Church in Plymouth at 11:30 AM followed by burial at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 5 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Children’s Hospital Pediatric Opthamology, 300 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA 02115.
